This is based on Wikipedia's List of use book conditions.

F - fine, like new, never been read

VG - very good, worn but untorn, clean inside, few creases

VG+ - VG, but little wear, appears unread

G - good, average used book, complete, appears to have been read.

G/M - good but with underlining or highlighting, typical of college texts

Fair - (not "F") fair, text pages complete but other pages may be missing, creases, tears

Fair/M - fair but with underlining or highlighting, typical of college texts

P/RC - poor/reading copy

Modifiers:

ExLib - was a library copy

Binding copy - the spine is damaged or gone

BCE - book club edition

DJ/No DJ - indicates presence or absence of the dust jacket

My terms of sale are - for people with enough money to enjoy luxuries: $3 for the first book, and $1 for each additional book. This covers your postage. For people strapped for cash: 50 cents + postage, and I'll just calculate the postage for you. It's Media Mail, so it's cheap.

Brochures and stapled cookbooks are 25 cents plus postage, but the postage can be $1 or so if it's light enough.

Please be honest about your ability to pay. The higher prices pay for things like gas and packaging materials for the orders for people with less money.

Rant

Also, down with Amazon (and also Ebay, which I happen to like). These companies extract so much in fees: that $5 book on Amazon has over $4 in Amazon fees. (Ebay+Paypal takes around 1 dollar.) If you pay the "expensive" rate, I'll clear almost as much in profit as if I sold on Amazon, while you save around $5. The more you buy per order, the more "profit" I get, believe it or not.

I forgot - the brochures and stapled cookbooks are 25 cents each + postage if it's light enough to fit into a regular envelope. Postage is around $1 depending on the weight. Otherwise, I'll take my chances with Media Mail.
